Canadian Future Party
Who We Are
Our Core Beliefs
At the Canadian Future Party’s first Convention we passed our Constitution which guides our party. You can read the constitution here. We also passed a resolution to amend the constitution until our next Convention which you can read here.
Our Consitution sets out our core beliefs as a party which are:
Science and Evidence-Based Policy: We rely on science and facts to make decisions in public life. Scientific progress and innovation are key to a better society, and our government should lead in defending this approach.
Democracy and Liberty: We believe democracy is the only just way to govern. We support regular, fair elections and the protection of everyone’s basic rights and freedoms.
Free Trade and Global Security: Our policies on defense, foreign affairs, trade, climate change & food security, for a world where people can freely trade and live in freedom.
Rights and Responsibilities: We value equality for all and believe freedoms must balance with responsibilities to keep Canada secure and safe.
Free Markets and Innovation: We support free markets that help drive innovation and increase wealth for everyone.
Fair Taxation and Investment: Our policies aim for fair wealth distribution to attract the best companies and talent worldwide.
Strong Social Services: We use evidence to decide the best way to provide social services, whether by the government, private sector, or community groups.
Pride and Progress: We’re proud of Canada’s past and are committed to defending and improving our democracy through teamwork and shared action.
