THE FUTURE PARTY
Other parties are more interested in exploiting divisions than solving problems.
The CFP believes people from every corner of the country want to be united behind a common set of ideals: democracy, the rule of law, collective action, and individual rights. A country where you can live as you like, love who you want, and in exchange, you work hard, and we collectively agree on a common set of rules to let us live our different lives, together. Where decisions are based on evidence.
Dominic Cardy
Leader, Canadian Future Party
01
Canadian values and better governance.
We commit to democracy and an open society, to defined individual rights and collective responsibilities. An example: we will adopt the British system that forces party leaders to earn their caucus’ support for every vote, not just budgets and confidence motions.
02
Make democracy deliver.
To make democracy deliver by reforming government programs by opening up to competition wherever possible while guaranteeing universal public accessibility. We will implement the Hillier plan to solve our housing crisis, combining the energy of the public and private sector to build houses, now.
03
Increase Canada’s defence spending to 2% of GDP.
To increase Canada’s defence spending to 2% of GDP; defending democracy abroad strengthens it here at home. Our plans include a universal Citizens Resiliency Corps to support community vibrancy and disaster relief efforts in Canada, giving our young people skills, building our national identity, and allowing our Armed Forces to focus on national defence and global security.
04
Restore faith in our immigration system.
To restore faith in our immigration system we need an emergency plan to fix the temporary immigration system. Canada needs immigrants, that means we need a system that works.
05
Make life more affordable and increase incomes.
To make life more affordable and increase incomes by dismantling the protectionism that sees our political parties cozy up with big business, big labour, and foreign dictatorships to fix prices that benefit them and hurt the middle class. We will open our telecommunications, airlines, and agricultural sectors to competition.

Canadian Future is Canada’s
newest federal political party
More than two thirds of Canadians feel politically homeless. They’re worried about growing extremism on the left and right, worried our institutions are growing weaker, even as government gets bigger. The Canadian Future Party has a message for those Canadians: we may have been politically homeless but we are not helpless. Together, we can create a Canada with sensible, bold solutions to the problems our country faces – from health care to housing to the climate crisis.
Our party is driven by evidence and a belief in an open society.
We are proud of Canada, and can’t wait to be part of making it better.
