It has been a busy few weeks here in Montreal but I wanted to take a few minutes to let you know that moment we all have been waiting for is here. Canadian Future Party is officially on its first ballot in Lasalle-Emard-Verdun in Montreal which means that we will be a registered party in the coming days. It is a great honour to be that first candidate. If you want to become a member of Canada’s newest political party, you can join here.
I have included my biography below for you to start to get to know me. I wanted to take a moment to tell you why I felt it was so important to stand for election for the Canadian Future Party. I always say that I have two parents – my mother and Canada. I believe in this country and I believe even in these trying times we all have a duty to make it better. I have had enough of the politics of extremes and division. And you know what, the people I have been talking to at the doors in Montreal agree – they want politicians who work to address the important problems, not ones that try to score points with petty grievances. There is an energy and a thirst for something different out there.
I have an amazing team on the ground but to make sure the people of Montreal know they have a new option, we need your help. We need volunteers in person and virtually. We need social media shares to increase our visibility. You can come to Montreal for our campaign launch on August 15 by getting a ticket here.
We also need funds to run our campaign – donations to me as a candidate are now tax deductible. Please give what you can so we can share the word with the great people from Montreal that they no longer need to feel politically homeless.
The future is forward. Let’s make this happen.
