Edmonton Griesbach

Brent is a family lawyer, husband and father who moved to Edmonton after law school in 1992.  He has spent his career often providing legal services to marginalized families who otherwise would not have counsel. Brent has been volunteer counsel for the Resolution Services since 2005 and received acknowledgement from the Minister of Justice in 2018 for having completed over 1000 successful mediations. In the community, Brent is the Past President of Edmonton's oldest musical theatre company and President of his softball umpires’ association. He has officiated at the local, Provincial and National Level and is the Umpire in Chief for the Alberta Indigenous Games.

Brent was first drawn to the concept of the Canadian Future Party through his interest with Centre Ice Canadians. The Party's philosophy for evidence based policies was a perfect fit for his distaste of rigid ideology and strict partisan beliefs in the 'left and right'. Like many other Canadians without a political home in this regard, Brent helped in the formation of the CFP as a founding member. He is proud to have been endorsed as the candidate for Edmonton Griesbach and looks forward to serving his community in Ottawa.
