Recognizing the strong sense of community, Megan and her husband made Halifax their home seven years ago. Today, with three children in tow, she juggles the excitement and challenges of motherhood with her career and passion for connecting with her community.

Why CFP?
Megan was initially drawn to the Canadian Future Party because of its focus on public participation and its centrist approach. She believes that finding balance and involving citizens is key to good governance and is excited to work with a party that shares these beliefs and promotes participation. Megan deeply connects with the Canadian Future Party’s belief that the government should focus on making life easier for its citizens and reducing inefficiencies. Continual feedback between citizens and government is necessary.

Seeing Canada as having the potential to be a leading democratic power on the global stage, Megan stands with the Canadian Future Party’s commitment to invest 5% of the GDP in defense by 2030. She believes defense is a non-partisan issue – one that should unite all Canadians. It’s not about sovereignty; it’s about strength.
